Lithuania is a Baltic state, next door to Poland. It is the largest and most populated of the 3 Baltic States. It is located in Eastern Europe, though is often cited as being in the centre of Europe. Since it's departure from Russia, it has embraced EU market reform. The capital Vilnius is an up-and-coming city which is steadily gaining recognition as making for a good city holiday. Lithuania has two international routes traversing the country: E28 (Berlin, Germany to Minsk, Belarus) travels through Vilnius. E67 commences in Prague, Czech Republic and passes through Kaunas.
